The Vivian Maier Scholarship Fund

Created in 2014 by documentary filmmakers John Maloof and Charlie Siskel (Finding Vivian Maier), along with Howard Greenberg, founder and owner of Howard Greenberg Gallery, the Vivian Maier Scholarship Fund provides need-based funding for female students pursuing an education in art and design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).

Vivian Maier is considered one of the greatest street photographers of the 20th century. She was an undiscovered artist until her death, when more than 100,000 of her photographs, largely depicting life in Chicago’s streets and suburbs in the 1950s and 60s, were uncovered.

Support of scholarships like the Vivian Maier Scholarship Fund has a profound and long-lasting impact on the lives of SAIC students. Please consider supporting the Vivian Maier Scholarship Fund today.
